Assistant Manager - Security Operations

• Troubleshoot, configure and maintain Firewall and Intrusion Prevention System (IPS)
• Manage operational and administrative activities associated with the Security Operations Unit
• Develop and maintain operational procedures and guidelines
• Analyze security issues, determine the root cause and impact and identify corrective action needed to eliminate and prevent future occurrences
• Evaluate and implement security tools and services to align security posture to business needs
• Conduct information security review during the various stages of systems development and related information systems change

• Degree holder in Computer Science/Information Technology/Information System 
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in information security 
• Proven experience in security infrastructure implementation 
•  Working experience in at least one of the following: JUNIPER Firewall, Watchguard Firewall, IBM ISS IPS 
• Knowledge on standards and requirements i.e. ISO27001, ISO27002, COBIT, ITIL processes 
• Good command of English language in communication and writing skills are mandatory 
• Oriented towards helping others and comfortable working in a team environment.
• Problem Solver attitude is required.
