Our client is a global FMCG company with market-leading household, health and personal care products etc. They are currently looking for a suitable talent to fill in the following strategic position. Responsibilities:

 

  • Achieve country field sales targets within budgetary constraints, through leading the field sales function in selling, negotiating and executing the company’s 4P objectives with key trade sectors
  • Developing and maintaining sound mutually beneficial trade relationships for the Field Sales Division within the country
  • Achieve distribution within specific trade sectors of new products at store level
  • Lead the entire sales force, managing all business communications, and informing the field sales force leadership structure of informed of negotiated activities and supply appropriate departments with sales information
  • Seek opportunities for exploitation for the company’s benefit and effectively utilise technology, both internally and externally
  • Ensure optimal relationship and communication with the planning department, ensuring all sales forecasts are accurate and communicated on a timely basis
  • Analyse the competitor strategies and develop Reckitt Benckiser field sales defense strategies accordingly
  • Ensure that our products are on shelf with the correct space allocation and merchandised according to company shelf standards
  • Lead and develop Country Field Sales force in terms of performance, motivation, development and capability
  • Ensure excellent Implementation of the 4 P’s in store
  • Improvement in the management of categories
Requirements:

  • Tenacious and resilient, driven to achieve even when faced with obstacles
  • Leadership and interpersonal skills capable of building strong working relationships and influencing and customers and internal teams
  • Strong commercial understanding of business issues/opportunities
  • Strong understanding of sales and marketing strategy and planning issues
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to develop strategies, tactics and measurable implementation
